"About mineral oils: Please note that the synthetic wax used in this product is fully compliant with Cosmetics Europe recommendation on mineral hydrocarbon (MOSH) in cosmetic lip products. The German authorities (BfR) also confirmed in 2018 that “no risk regarding formation of granulomas in the liver can be expected from the oral uptake of MOSH through lip care products which comply with the recommendation of Cosmetics Europe” In addition, the specifications of this synthetic wax comply with the EFSA (ANS panel) food criteria on mineral oils.
